Hazelnut, Irish Cream, Moca Java, Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry... These and many more are often featured at coffee bars, coffee shops and "Gormet Coffee" Places.
Do you enjoy them? Do you Drink them on a regular basis?
My personal opinion of flavoring coffee is similar to that of flavoring cigars.
I drink coffee black with no sugar and although I enjoy different coffees such as Kona, Jamaica Blue Mountain, Kenya, Colombian and Nicaraguan, as well as different strengths such as Arabica beans for expresso, I personally do not care for artifically flavored coffees.
Your opinion?
Discuss it between yourselves.
Dave, feel free to use it as a feature in CA.

I agree, although I like coffee with (real) liquers.
I remember when General Foods first came out with their flavored "coffees" and my mom suggested I look at the ingredients. Decided I could live without them.

I like my coffee fresh, strong, black, no sweetener.
I have been known to ask for capucinos or café au lait because I distrust those big thermoses or caraffes containing old burnt coffee.
Up here. Try my personal favourites: La Brulerie St-Denis or A L Van Houte.
As for Starbucks. They served me burnt coffees at the airports a few times. Í'll drink burnt coffee when I have no choice. But because of this I consider them to be a second rate common denominator brand surfing on coffee's trendiness.
QM Quality does not occur by chance. It is the result of intelligent activities.

flavored coffee is gross! especialy the instant kind. i do like grand marnier, baileys or kahlua in my coffee the morning after a long nite of drinking.

I sort of feel like a wuss ordering them, but I almost exclusively drink raspberry mochas from Starbucks. It is a drink that cannot be duplicated -- except for the people at any Starbucks. I bought the same syrup and try to make them the same, but I can't. As for my manliness, at least my drink of choice comes in a descrete cup, like most of the other drinks, and not in the clear plastic ones with the bubble tops filled with whip cream. I see guys with those and laugh. You want a cherry on those things, boys?
I'm with you Stu my wife worked at Starbucks while in college and she got me hooked on Rasberry mochas. I normally drink my coffee black but when I go to Barnes and Noble I like to have something different than my regular morning coffee.
well we've got a local roaster that makes a flavored roast called snickerdoodle, with hazelnut, chocolate and some other things...but they use high quality beans, and real liquors, not powders or junk...really a very good coffee...try their websitewww.cactuscreekcoffee.com...very good custom roasting for excellent prices, and quick worldwide shipping...

Flavored coffees are not my cup of tea (har!) When I first started drinking espresso and espresso drinks I would opt for a shot of flavored syrup but moved away from that some time ago.
I do have a weakness for the frozen coffee drinks in the summertime. We have a local chain of coffee shops that makes a frozen cappuccino in one of those cylindrical slushee machines. It is quite strong and has been dubbed "liquid crack" by those who drink it.

I'm thinking that smoking cigars and drinking your coffee black seem to go together. I can't see someone smoking a cigar and putting cream and sugar in there coffee. Anyone on the board not drink there coffee black. I also think people who enjoy black coffee also enjoy darker beers. I'm a Guiness and Murphy's drinker. I'll drink coronas and such when I'm out with friends but don't usually have the stuff in my house. If you haven't tried a Wexfords Irish Cream Ale then you need to find a supplier and get some. Sorry to thread jack but I had this in my head.

S-rage, we're gonna have to get together someday. Cigars, black coffee, and dark beer. Never had the ones you suggest, I like Beck's Dark, Spaten Optimater, and Negro Modelo, among others.

Hey, I'm a sissy...my coffe has to be just like my woman, hot, white, and sweet...flavored or not, don't serve it to me black and unsweetened; but then, I've never tried to drink coffee and smoke a cigar. Could be that is the way to go with a smoke. Maybe someday, when I'm out of tequila and vodka, I'll give it a try.
