I'm wondering what fellow cigar smokers are drinking on a regular basis with their smokes. Myself I have had Mount Gay Eclipse with my last few cigars and I have been enjoying it.

My usual drink is Old Forester "Signature" bourbon. I also drink, intermittantly, Elijah Craig 12 y.o., and Noah's Mill 15 y.o.

Here in Houston, the temp runs into the 90s through Sept. so I make an ice bath for the glass so that the whiskey doesn't blow my head off too quickly.

Good smoking and sipping.

Any bourbon and sometimes a darker beer like a bock, doppelbock, porter, etc. Basically any darker drink that accompanies the more full bodied cigars that I smoke.

I had some Bowmore 12 yr a couple of nights ago. I'm not what you would call a "scotch aficionado" but I know what I like and I like the Bowmore.

Lately, I like DocBarry's suggestion on Tanqueray Rangpur and tonic...it's still in the 80s here in PA so I'm not ready to give up on summer drinks just yet.

Bombay and Effen martinis on Saturday night.

And fall beer season is upon us so I'll be looking for my usual case of Post Road Pumpkin Ale.

I too took Doc's recommendation on the Tanqueray Rangpur and tonic, but went dry last month. So lately its back to whiskeys. The usual suspects are Crown Royal Special Reserve or Makers Mark.

I've been wanting to try bowmore. I'm just getting into 'drinking with knowledge', meaning actually drinking for taste and knowing what you are drinking. My usuals for cigars are jameson on the rocks, red italian wine(recently, antinori toscana and masi campofiorin,) I really like glenlivet 12yr on the rocks too. I also have a bottle of belvenie doublewood. Try it out Jweb, if you haven't already. I drink it in a sniffer b/c to me, 45$ for scotch is expensive so I save and savor it. Wink I recently got the ingredients for Bond's Vesper martini. BAM! that drink is fantastic. One I could drink every day. In fact I'm having one tonight. That's usually my keeps. I love red wine, I love Jameson and I love scotch even though I've only had two kinds. That area is one I am really trying to dive into. I really want to try Laphroaig and bowmore and I want to get different belvenie's as well.

I had a Chimey Red at lunch because I heard that people enjoy this beer here on the forum. It was brilliant.

I just like cigars, is that ok?

Last night I bought a bottle of "Strait Shine". Apparently some local guy decided to make legal "moonshine". He went throught the process of getting a license and having it tested and what not. It's actually not too bad for 75% alcohol content. For right now it's only availible locally here, maybe he'll start expanding.
