"Cuban seed tobaccos grown in Nicaragua and Cuba. The wrapper would be from Cuba. The binder leaves would be from Nicaragua. For the ligero tobacco in the filler, he would use two types, one from Esteli and the other from Jalapa in Nicaragua. The other filler components, seco and viso, would come from Cuba, the former from Villa Clara, the latter from Pinar del Rio. That Cigar, he says with pride, would score 100 points."

I normally buy locally, but I used winechateau.com once because I couldn't find Auchentoshan Three Wood anywhere, and they had it cheapest.

When I have to buy on-line I use Sherry-Leaman. Not allowed to ship liquor to New York because of taxes.

Looks like a nice site, big selection compared to places here.

Do they actually do the whole "21 year old signatue required" thing though? I'm not home in the day when the mail comes, so if that's enforced, I'll need to get it shipped elsewhere.

James,
The duty free shop on the Canadian side of the Peace Bridge has a great selection of scotch. Great prices to boot.

I forgot about the duty free, thanks. I'll have to check it out.

The problem with some online sellers is the shipping costs.
I usually stock up ot the way back from vacation at the duty free shops.

yeah the shipping stinks and need to order a case at a time for it to make good sense. I had to fax a copy of my drivers license to them and all was OK.

Hey Wolfe,

Give Hi-Times a shot. I never purchased from them online as they are local to me. But they have a ridiculously extensive wine, spirit, and beer selection. They even have a cigar section and their selection and prices blow everyone else near me out of the water.

BTW, I see that Creech mentioned Auchentoshan 3-Wood which Hi-Times is selling for $50.

I think their site is down, I tried accessing their site though google and it didn't work either. That's a great price for the Three Wood too. I might have to pick up another bottle because I really enjoyed it.

Suprisingly, low prices too.
