what is the opinion of the memebership on The Dalmore Cigar Malt. I found it the other by accident and bought it on a whim. I drank it with an Alcazar No. 3...I was on the 7th floor of the Hilton in Destin and it was a wonderful experience...any thoughts

it's an awsome malt.... I tried one dram of it a few weeks back, and loved it... I had to get a bottle...

unfortunatly, Quebec liquor srtores don't carry it...

lucky for me, bobcat picked up a bottle for me from the Canadian prairies and shipped it to me....

I haven't had time to properly sample it, so I won't get into flavour profiles, and finishes, and the whole shabang... but once I do, I'll come back and post some of my drinking notes...

BTW, it' a 12 year old scotch

I have been meaning to pick this up to try and was hoping someone else could give me their feedback. I have to say, Macallan 12 is my true favorite. Something about the name, Cigar Malt, has me drawn to it like a mosquito to a picnic.

Have you tried it yet?

I had some last weekend and have to say it was great. I will look for it this weekend on my foraging trip.

I paired it with a Gurhka Black Dragon and was nt disappointed.

I am also going to try the Welsh single Malt this weekend (SEE another posted thread)

It is incredible when enjoyed with dark 70% cocoa chocolate shavings.
