Reubens are great!
Here in Mexico the tortas are pretty tasty too. My favorite is the torta cubana: ham, pork, cheese, lettuce, tom, onion, jalapenos, avacado, mayo! I love me some sandwiches.

I sometimes wake up screaming in the middle of the night dreaming of my days of making Hog-head cheese with my Grandparents!

Here in Albuquerque you'll come across the Albuquerque Turkey. It's usually turkey, swiss, green chile, guacamole, tomatoes, onions, lettuce all in a deli roll. We tend to put green chile in everything here in New Mexico. If you want red chile and green chile, you ask for "Christmas."

The last egg cream I had was at Herbs candy store in Yonkers near Mclean Ave.
Must have been 30 years ago.

I gotta add, a classic club sandwich can't be beat. I'm eating one right now that I just made and it is sure hitting the spot. I forgot that I ran out of mayo, so I had to make my own and it taste so much better.

You guys are killing me. Since I moved to NC I haven't had a good deli sandwich like I used to be able to get in NY and NJ. I have yet to find a good Italian or Jewish deli nearby. I have been craving a good deli sandwich since I moved here.
