Definitely pastrami on rye, especially from a good NYC deli.

I can be talked into eating a quality muffaletta too.

My three favorites are: Chicago Italian beef, the good ole grinder with Italian cold cuts, and the Muffaletta from New Orleans.

A Cuban sandwich is a variation of a ham and cheese originally created by Cuban workers, either in Cuba or in the immigrant community of Ybor City in Tampa Florida.[1][2] Later, Cubans brought it to other communities in southern Florida, particularly Key West and Miami[3] where it is very popular. The sandwich is made with ham, roasted pork, Swiss cheese, pickles, mustard, and sometimes salami[2] on Cuban bread.

They are great!
Had one as an appetizer at a cuban restaurant in the Meat Packing District last weekend.
