Hello people from St. Louis,

I was wondering where you all smoke and get your cigars from.

I go to Jons in Clayton along with JR.

Haven't found any good smoking spots though, except my house.

So if there is some cigar shop I don't know about I would love to hear about it, also your favorite places to smoke.

Thanks,

Big_Red

Town and Country out on Manchester Rd has a nice lounge area, but you pay dearly for anything you buy in there. There is another West of 270 on the South side of Olive in a shopping center that has a lounge, I don't remember the name of that one, and it is likewise a bit pricey.

I used to buy almost exclusively from Jon's, but switched to online sources during the boom. Jon's could no longer get the cigars I had been buying in there for years, but I would see them in cigar bars with their name on the humidor.

I have used JRs since they were downtown, and still make some casual purchases from them. I think they have suffered from changes of ownership in recent years.

I have found you won't find the "hot" brands in either place. I was in Clayton last weekend and checked both for Oliva V, Don Pepin, and Padilla Miami, and neither has them.

I buy online mostly from Famous, Holt's, and Mike's.
