Best bagel I ever had was at Bohemia Bagel in Prague.

after all this talk, I made the recipe I posted above again. Chewier than I'd remembered but sooooo good. I don't know why I stopped, nor do I remember why I've ever bought any at the grocery...

YEP.


I've been to this place about 4 times in the past month. There is always a line. Nearly out the door most mornings. This place really enjoys the benefits of location, because they must be making a killing and their bagels are only slightly better than what you get from a coffee cart.

Same goes for the bakeries in that area. Always full of people, waiting with dollars in hand to buy bad pastries.
