Of all the vodkas ive tried, which isnt alot, i would have to say Grey Goose. My roommate got a few bottles, the regular line, orange, and the vanilla. My favorite way to drink it is either a martini (which i have to take very slowly) or screwdriver style. The worst vodka ive had, which my roommates usually buy because of the price, is Skol, ick.

I agree. Grey Goose. I use the Citron for my wife's Cosmopolitans and the regular (straight from the freezer) goes directly into a frosted martini glass with a twist. Add a little caviar (on the side, not in the martini glass) and I'm good for the evening.
I also like to peel and cut a whole fresh pineapple into slices, put them into a big-mouthed jar with a lid, pour a couple of bottles of Grey Goose over it and let it macerate in the refrigerator for 7 to 10 days.
Serve it in a chilled glass garnished with a piece of pineapple.

However i would not waste it on a scredriver IMHO. I drink the Goose either in a Vodka Martini or in a Vodka Tonic. The juices take away from the absolute smoothness of the Goose.
I Like Stolichnaya Orange for a quick shot....but I really prefer Luksusowa Potato Vodka (Polish) for mixing a nice Vodka & Tonic. Potato Vodka is far smoother, and "cleaner" tasting than vodka made with grain IMHO...
I keep all my Gin & Vodka in the freezer year round.....it really enhances the flavor. Try it. you'll be surprised at the difference. (and no, it won't freeze....it's alcohol...just gets frosty-cold).

I dont usually drink vodka but I use it in my fiancee's drinks. I use Tito's handmade Vodka, it's from Texas only distillery and is pretty good stuff. I use it to make a Stogie style version of Tom Collins, its really more like a Cherry-lime Rickey though and I sometimes make salty dogs also.

clear liquor is garbage imo, that being said...since i'm polish i take Chopin or Belvedere in my vodka lemonades. Chopin might be a little smoother but i dont' know jack about vodka...just whiskeys and rum.

Used to be Grey Goose until the French pulled that crap about the war.
Yeah, just imagine those French, having the nerve to make foreign policy decisions based on their own national best interests rather than ours. Who do they think they are? I say, down with democracy in Western Europe! Bring back the monarchy!

Its just pure grain alchohol. Colourless, tasteless, smells like alchohol.
Best to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt.
You know so little.

Being a student in Cracow, Poland the past 9 months I have been able to sample a quite varied assortment of vodkas and establish a taste for the wide ranging vodkas that are available here. I consider myself a purist in that I very rarely drink mixed vodka drinks (if so only chilled Zubrowka with apple juice), as I prefer to drink strictly pure "unflavored" vodka. Siwucha, is a fabulous rye vodka packaged with a cork and wax seal enclosure, that I like a lot. Belvedere and Chopin two "boutique" vodkas are smooth but not necessarily the best in my opinion. Pan Tadeusz is another unflavored vodka that I love to sip on straight up. Dziegielowka is a herbal vodka that I find quite smooth and good with dinner. I personally find flavored (vanilla, orange, etc.) vodkas disgusting, and little offended by "experts" who drink them.
