Hate to butt in but I think both of you should relocate to Virginia. Maybe bring Stogie with you. I am all into great food and can't go to FL, TX, or CA. Only solution that makes sense is for you guys to come my way!!!

Oh, that's for sure. We'd be in the biz before you could finish a churchill. And I know all the statistics about how restaurants fail, etc... but I still know there's a place in most communities for someone who loves to feed friends. Great food, fresh ingredients and warm hospitality and we'd make a killing!

Nut! Why wasn't I reading this forum when I did my stint as a sales rep to the Pottery Factory??? I could have AT LEAST sat out on your porch with you and smoked something I brought up from Miami!!!

Really!! How long ago was that? I used to know the top levels when it was the Pottery Factory before the wife influence got involved. Anyway, don't let that stop you - the porch is always available.

I had a company that sold art wholesale that we would import, mostly from Africa. The Pottery Factory was one of the accounts I handled myself in most of 2003. My last meeting there I literally walked out. There is a sweetheart of a woman who oversees lots of the purchasing, but the owner and his wife were people who felt that they had to insult you and demean you in order to get the best price. I'm just a little too old for that nonsense. It'll never survive like that for long.

That'd make a hell of a name for a place: "McNuts Porch"! We'd bring them in by the droves. Come on Stogie... fire up that brisket and let's GO. It's gotta beat the shizzle out of working the night shift!

Hey, all I know is we gotta put something down on the calendar in 2005 where some of us can meet up and smoke for the weekend somewhere. Big Smoke, Little Smoke, Medium Smoke... who cares. Maybe we should let everyone get nice and cold and then do something in Florida! Maybe combine it with some fishing or eating...

On the restraunt part, just think, there is no restraunt that serves regular dishes and has a pit in the back. Andy, PMP! We could make a killing. Im for real!!!!!!

Andy - I know what you mean about the pottery folks. Genuine Aholes. The place is going down hill fast since the old man died.
Lets see we got Andy, Pmp, Stogie, Idesign, Dex, Smoke, Zd. Sounds like a trip brewing!!

Let me know when you guys want to get together..I'm only a hop skip and a jump from Andy, and it sounds like it'd be a fun (can you say great cooking and eating) time.
