We're off to Switzerland for 2 wks. in May , touring via rental car. Does anyone have the inside info on the Swiss cigar scene? I have visited the web site of the CDH in Zurich, and checked some prices. Prices appear to be moderate. Thanks for your good advice, Captain Stogie

Prices will be pretty constant from one shop to another - just don't buy in a bar, and you'll be okay. You may be able to negotiate about a 10% discount on boxes (especially if you pay cash), but generally there is no markup for singles.

I don't know a lot about the shops in Zurich, but the good news is that fakes shouldn't be an issue. If you decide to head down to Geneva pop off an email to me at ddelamont @ hotmail.com and I can show you a couple shops here and have a smoke together.
