Sorry, but I have to agree. I like the CA previews very much and don't mind paying a premium for them, as long as they don't replace the vertical tastings. As an editor myself, it does seem like you're maybe trying to cut back on generating CI-only content by replacing them with previews. Just my two cents.
The preview tastings will appear once out of every four or five Cigar Insiders, to give CI subscribers a preview of the best of Cigar Aficionado. Every other issue will contain the normal Cigar Insider reviews, and the issues with the previews will also have some Cigar Insider reviews.
The previews are not replacing the CI verticals. We tried to redesign the preview tastings to 1) give you more of them and 2) make them more presentable, much more like Cigar Aficionado reviews.
