Recently I purchased a used humidor that had a picture of the 1st issue of Cigar Aficionado on the top. Also the label on the dial of the hygrometer also stated it was from Cigar Aficionado. I can't find any information on this humidor (manufacturer, date, etc). Do you have any information about who would have released this humidor, who built it and when?

Thanks,
Nick

For some reason I am not able to create a new photo album. I've checked my permissions and I should be able to do it but there is no option for it when I click on the "new" tab. There is only the "discussion". I have multiple pictures of the humidor and would like to find out more about it. Any thoughts?

Wow, that's sweet! Remember when "Cigar" was the most prominent text in the title? I miss the old title.

Nice. But your RH is almost 80%... that's way too high.

Two reasons for that. Just got done seasoning it and I hadn't calibrated the hygrometer yet. It was off by about 5%. It is holding steady at 68%-70% for the past week. I still wish I could find out who built it (and if this is/was a Cigar Aficionado licensed product. Or if someone slapped the graphics on there in the construction phase.)

There was a time when we had Cigar Aficionado branded products, everything from cologne to ties to humidors. That looks like the genuine product, so no one slapped on the graphics.

I can't remember who made that piece. It was awhile ago. Let me ask around.
