As winter is approaching at my nothern climate home, it is time to remodel one of my rooms as a "Cigar Room." Looking for good resources out there to do this right. Wood paneling (what type), smoke eater, etc.

Evolution of a smoking room - - - -

This is where it started. One full garage:

Then we had to empty is out:

Put up some framing:

and insulation:

Sheet rock and some paint:

And then the floor:

For ventilation, I've got a big fan in the ceiling that vents to outside. Plus the windows. I also picked up a csonka smoke eater for the smell.

There is AC/heat but not return vent. Also put in a base board heater.

Furniture is two leather club chairs, flat screen TV, humis, table.

We also put in a new hall downstairs with half a bathroom.

David, which Cigar Aficionado issue was this? If if was not published, where can I find the archived story online?

Sorry to bring up an old post, but my wife and I are looking to buy a new house, and I would like to make one of the rooms into a Cigar Room. I've already read tons of info about this topic on the internet, but I'd really like to read this CA story. Thanks.
