I was just wondering if CA was considering having another Big Smoke in Detroit. I went to the last one as well as many other Canadians and really enjoyed the proximity as for some travel great lengths to go to an event. And the biggest factor is that you can still smoke in Detroit! Hope to have one there soon

Somebody else asked this a while ago. A statewide smoking ban is still under consideration in Michigan. IF CA books events out a year in advance or more -- and they probably do, there's a chance they won't be able to hold it if a ban is passed before it would occur.

That's what killed the Chicago Big Smokes, even though they were very popular.

But as a Detroit-area resident, I'd enjoy a Michigan Big Smoke.

Ah i see a state wide ban is being considered. Well until then we just have to book the Big Smoke and do what we can to put the ban off. I guarantee that if CA contacted some official or at least got the ball rolling to some higher political party, then they would keep the event in place. I am sure that Detroit will need something like this as it brings so much to the community. I say CA begins the journey to try it and see what they can get out of it.
