Great Jan./Feb. cover and more importantly, great story about a fine actor. Unfortunately, other websites are quoting things about David that were not even mentioned in your article. Worse yet, they are referencing Cigar Aficionado as the source of these quotes. Here's hoping that your lawyers can do something about this inaccurate trash.
Speaking of David Caruso, and notwithstanding the fact that I like the show, I find he is starting to be a bit redundant in the way he takes off his glasses (or puts them on), and puts his hands on his waist, opening is vest to reveal his badge...
Anyway, that's just me, but it brings us to this link with a pot-pourri of his opening one-liners... Enjoy!

Thanks for the feedback. Can you be more specific about sites quoting the interview inaccurately?

I am not sure if it will take you directly to the entry about Cigar Aficionado. You may have to scroll down to it. Also, if you are unable to find it, I managed to cut and paste the entry into a Word document. Do you have an email where I could send this as an attachment?
Or if you could tell me how to paste it into a post, I will be happy to do that as well.
Frankly, someone at Cigar Aficionado needs to take a look at this. I have a copy of the Caruso issue and nowhere did I read any of this nonsense.
Let me know if you are able to find it and if not let me know how to email it to you.
In a recent feature in "Cigar aficionado" Caruso admitted for the first time that his current GF - and the reason for the break-up of his 3rd marriage- is is an ex-hooker. He admitted that he liked to play around. "I'm a player. It can't be helped." Caruso also speaks about his regrets that his last marriage failed due to his difficult behaviour and slip-ups during their eight years together. Liza's ex-boss who runs the Golddigger Strip Club and other gentlemen- clubs in LA tells "Cigar afficionado" that he met Liza Marquez in a seedy club in Dallas, Texas, where she worked as a table dancer. According to the business man she was rather plain looking, over-weight and kind of cheap . He hired her despite her short-comings because she was "a hard worker". Once in LA she set her mind on a celeb - any celeb.Liza - poorly educated and from a difficult background-had one goal: to get herself a rich guy and thus being financially independent. Once she spotted Caruso at the strip club she knew she had her prime target. That he was still married didn't bother her too much, according to her ex-boss. When told about Caruso's divorce the club owner shook his head "Compared to Liza Caruso's third (now ex)- wife Margaret is a very classy Lady. Caruso really did a nosedive - women-wise." ********************************************* Source: CIGAR AFICIONADO
Thanks for alerting us. There's nothing like that in the Cigar Aficionado article, but I don't think there's anything we can do about that other posting. It's from an internet bulletin board, not a magazine article. Thanks, though, for pointing that out.

I agree wholeheartedly. That particular website is filled with gross inaccuracies and slanderous material. If I were David Caruso, I would take legal action. But he's probably too classy to even dignify all of that nonsense with a response. I don't understand though why Cigar Aficianado is helpless to take any legal action. That website has mischaracterized their entire Caruso interview. It's a shame that a classy publication like CA is unable to defend itself in situations like this.

What is all that fuss about? I visited the webblog too and I find it highly amusing. Who knows how David Caruso behaves when the cameras are off? Three failed marriages tell quite a story...
I couldn't agree more. He is neither an A-lister nor is he someone worth talking about. Just a 3-times divorced bloke who happens to smoke cigars. Big deal. He couldn't act his way out of a paper bag...
What I miss in this article ARE THE REAL JUICY DETAILS.... Why did his last marriage break up? What about the shady past of his girl-friend? What about the 4 million palimony suit he lost? I miss investigative journalism here.Or weren't ypu allowed to ask those kidn of questions?Instead you have a guy croonig over his ugly girl-friend who is rumoured to have a shady past.
"Older men should be with younger women" HOW CREEPY IS THAT?
Personally, I do not even want to read about an A Lister in my cigar magazine unless the bulk of the article is about (YES YOU GOT IT) cigars! Now there are many, varied aspects the wide ranging topic "Cigars" may cover, but I don't need fluff pieces about celebs in my cigar mag.

I for one don't mind that CA is not an encyclopedia of cigars, but more of a lifestyle mag. Although I'm often not a fan of the feature personalities, it's interesting to hear who enjoys cigars, and I usually just skim pieces like the Caruso one. I do like the Good Life guide, even though some of those things are, and ever will remain out of reach.
