If any of the editors will be in New York on April 23, the Tribeca Film Festival will be showing "The Lost Son of Havana." It is the story of Luis Tiant finally returning home to Cuba after 46 years. Please check out the link below. I have been told that there will be some cigar pre and post parties with Luis and his El Tiante Cigar line.

I met Mr.Tiant many years ago at a Yankees Red Sox game in Boston.
He was making and selling Cuban sandwiches outside the stadium.
We spoke he signed autographs.
A very personable and intellectual man as well as one of the greatest pitchers of all time.
I would love to see this movie.

El Tiante himself was at the Foxwoods Big Smoke this weekend, handing out cigars and chatting with the crowd.

El Tiante had a great time at The Big Smoke. He is very passionate about baseball , Cuba, and cigars. He loved being there interacting with all the consumers and other cigar makers. We hope everyone enjoyed talking with him and smoking cigars with him. He also hopes people like his El Tiante Corojo. Thanks for having us David, Gordon, and Marvin!
