What is the prefered cigar, both high end or inexpensive of African Americans, and why?

Why would African Americans smoke anything less than any other American.

There are a lot of African American smokers out there and they smoke the same great cigars that I do.

Doc ***** Tobacco is a filthy weed, I like it...

How is this knowable? Do you think that black people are a homogenous group when it comes to taste in cigars?

For this being your first post, I find your question quite odd and insulting.

LOL, I knew this one would be trouble when I first saw it.

reevega, I sincerely hope that your inquiry was not an attempt to insult or demean, or to place all members of any group, racial or otherwise, into one over-simplified group, homogenized or otherwise.

As they often say, "there are no stupid questions..." as long as you don't set off the PC alarms! Eek

I have a very good friend who has seen a few years of this lifetime; he likes to remark that when he was young, he was a negro, then he became black, and now he's African-American. He then smiles and tells you he doesn't know what he'll be next year, but he knows that in somebody's eyes he'll be a victim. For the record, he's a successful dentist, drives a Jag, collects oriental art and smokes ccs of all varieties.

I discern no difference in taste for the finer things in life between my friend and Whitey. Wink

I'm just curious as to why he/she thinks the ca would have data on this. They would have to have done an extensive, racially based survey. I do not think the question was meant to be offensive; it is just ill-conceived.

Perhaps the last U.S. Census "long form" that everybody was so worked up about included a question re this. Let's all write our reps in congress to make sure it is addressed in the next iteration; they aren't doing anything else for us. Razz

It's a question I wouldn't have asked for the reasons you and others have stated, but I've asked siller ones about sillier subjects.

Attn. Reevega, If you had a hint of intellectual and moral honesty you would anwer to this forum your intentions for posting this topic. If it was a stupid question and you were not thinking then be a mature adult and admit it. I personally believe you may be a proffesional PROVOCATEUR but thats my opinion. I see that your name is Vega, should we follow your line of questions by asking " Do Latins smoke the same cigars as everyone else" and more importantly "" WHY""". The why aspect of your question bothers me more then anything else.
