I'd like to submit a suggestion for your consideration which might make the search function a bit more user-friendly on the CA forums. I had been using the search function that appears at the top of the page to find out basic information -- believing that it would turn up posts in the CA forums. I recently discovered that a much better search is found if the user goes to the "find" tab, and then clicks on "advanced search." This gives noobs such as myself results that are focused on a particular topic. Would you consider adding another tab to the forum toolbar, "Search the CA Forums" which would take the user to the screen found when find > advanced search is used? I think it would be a terrific improvment. Thanks for a great site, BTW.

I've been having access problems periodically. In addition, on Saturday afternoon I successfully logged in but wasn't able to enter any new posts or replies to posts.

That's a good idea! Any chance this is in the works?

As a new suscriber to the forum, and after looking around..found a topic of interest. It actually stems from the smoking ban. Doesn't the ban violate the 14th amendment...citizens rights to equal protection?
It just might. Which ban are you referring to? Where are you from?
I believe the best way to fight smoking bans is for individuals such as yourself to let it be known to the politicians who you put in office that you're not going to sit idle while they pass laws that take away your rights.

The "forums" button link on the search results page is dead. It's coded to return to a forum page with "web8" at the beginning. Do a search and then try to use the forums button to return and you'll see what I mean.

Well, true, that's even better. That was the July 05 publication, which also gives idea of their filming time.
Also great article on Ometepe, still can't believe you got on the local ferry...and true agree with Senior about taste, also when he was comparing to a wrapper from Leon, which is also volcanic soil. See you there sometime.
I'm very interested in the article Roger Riddell wrote on Home Cigar Rolling Kits from Abel Cigar Co. I'm looking particularly for glue and a "chaveta" - tobacco knife. I'm having a little trouble contacting them. Do they (or this product)still exist. Below is the article source. Could you put me in contact with Roger Ridell or this company "Abel Cigar Co." Any help would be greatly appreciated.
"While you may never approach the level of the finest rollers, with practice and effort, you should be able to roll a decent, smokeable cigar. If nothing else, you will definitely have a new appreciation for the labor involved in making your favorite cigars.
The kit is available for $495.00 through the California-based Abel Cigar Co. All parts can be replaced and ordered individually, including the tobacco. For more information visit them online at www.cigarrolling.com or call them at 845-484-8789.
