Dear Editors,

I just learned that CA has been doing humidors review akin Top 25 Cigars, but apparently not every year.

When do you plan the next battle of boxes?

Also, may I suggest that a little more popular inexpensive humidors are included in this next humi contest: IMHO the price does not always reflect quality (which BTW often is also true for cigars).

Thanks.

I too would love to see a humidor review. Since there are all these online sites for humidors it's very hard to determine how good a humidor is going to be from seeing a picture online.

Don't mean to be importunate, but would appreciate if someone could respond - at least to the question about the time of the next humi review.

It's been several years since our last humidor review. It might be time to do one again. Thanks for bringing this up.

Thank you very for the response, David. If you guys do it some time this year I'm going to feel honored imagining to myself that my post served a reminder and maybe to some extent an inducement to that Smile

First post, so here we go...

Does anyone have a recommendation for a <$50 humi? I'm looking for my first and as the OP mentioned, lots of choices and no chance to get my hands on them...

Hey, hawk. I don't think this is the right place for your post. You'd get a lot more feedback if you post it in Cigar Talk section.

This thread is for Q/A/Comment to and for the CA Editors. I doubt they can recommend you anything cheaper than $1000 Big Grin

Oh, BTW, welcome.

Thanks for the heads up. I was trying to piggy back on an existing thread, but I'll find one over there to get in on.

Thanks for the welcome Smile

I know it would be so much work, but it would be cool it they did 3 month reviews leading up to the top 25 cigars of the year.

Say in March...the top 5,10, or 15 lighters. Then in June...the same with humidors. Then September they can do something else. Then Finally the top 25 cigars.

Something like that.

They actually have some recommendations here for a decent price.
