My copy was in the mailbox Saturday evening. I've only browsed it quickly, but a common theme that keeps appearing the magazine showed up again in the Jordan interview.

MJ, like many of the rich & famous interviewed in the magazine, mentions a number of Cuban's he smokes regularly. How do they get away with publicly violating the embargo? I applaud his statements and apparent contempt for this stupid law, but it still surprises me how many celebs public flaunt their violations.

It's got to be the same thing with musicians and the like singing or rapping about doing drugs or killin' folks. It's one thing to say it, it's another to do it (and get caught).

No different than band members obviously stoned at a concert. I wouldn't do it, but then I'm not into taking a whole lot of risks.

I really enjoyed the latest CA. For once the interview mixed business w/ pleasure. MJ works hard and explains how he relaxes and enjoys life outside of business; I like reading about this because it shows he his human.

I have two questions though.....

(1) How could MJ smoke a cigar on the way to a home game and still play?

(2) How can MJ smoke before working out?

This latest issure was one of the better issues they have lately imo. I read it front to back and there was some good articles in there. the interview with mj and fuente for example. the little article about the cigar auction dinner thing was intersting too.

As for the article about te flavored cigars, i dont like them either but you have to admit they do take up some market share. in the article as well they explained they didnt exactly like them and why they would never be rated in an issue of CA

People aren't smoking cigars to be trendy, cool or stylish. They're smoking cigars because they like them. Because they enjoy the experience. Because for about $5 they can spend an hour sampling one of life's greatest luxuries.
