I have just completed the construction of a fantastic cigar shop and smoking lounge for a freind of mine. The engineer and city required a 100% evacuation of all air from a forced air hvac system. We have a big problem, the humidor is now inventoried with over $200,000 worth of cigars and everytime the heat comes on, we blow all the humidity out. Denver Colorado is a very dry climate, I can heat the humidor temporarily with some radiant wall plug heaters and maintain a 70% humidity and 70 degree temp, but, this is only a bandaid, and when summer comes, the forced air hvac is definately not going to work. Do you have any suggestions or anyplace I can go for help?

Sorry, no idea what you can do. But if it would help, send me some of your cigars about 450 and I'll keep them in my humidor. I'm sure everyone else here would also be willing to store some in there humidors till you get the humidity problem worked out.

Two separate heating systems, or cut off all heat to the humidor and use plug ins.
