I wanted to request that the staff of Cigar Aficionado share with the readers of this forum and publication, what cigars are actually inside their humidor. Given that we all have different tastes, I was curious to see what would be the favorites and daily smokes of the CA crew.

Thanks!

Better yet....next time I'm in the city doing sales calls, can I come and take a peek at the contents? Big Grin

Great idea. And it would be nice to know what each editor thinks are the top 10 or 25 cigars currently available (2003 to 2007), CC, DC, NC.

So what's the verdict?

I believe the lack of response is their way of telling you to get lost. BTW - CC's are illegal in the US.

Lack of response? I said I thought it wasn't a bad idea. Let's see what happens.

I thought David was replying for the editorial staff.

I think it is a great idea. I would like to koow what you purchase also as opposed to have through the manufacturer's samples.

Mr. Suckling can show his humidor. He is not a US citizen, correct?

This is a great idea, if for no other reason than to spark debate about the various editors "padding" their humidors to favor the CA advertisers. Big Grin

I was looking closely at the photo of Marvin and Gordon in Marvin's walk-in humidor and noticed something...boxes and boxes of Montecristo at his feet.

But not Cubans. Montecristo Classic from the DR.

Does that strike anyone else as...unexpected?

So, yeah, I'd be interested in what the CA staff keeps in their own personal humidors. We all have a few "skeletons" in our humis...stuff we like but aren't necessarily proud of. That's what I'd be interested in hearing!

That's very nice Gordon. It's nice to see what a true aficionado's humidor looks like as opposed to some of us wanna-be's

Y^hanks Gordon, I recognized many of the bands. I don't have "golf course" cigars but have my "working around the yard" cigars.

Lets see what the others have and use, I liked the blog!

Wow, great post by Gordon but the video seems to be down. Any chance of expanding the videos to include other known and unknown staffers.

Thanks,

D
