Punch Ninfas? I don't smoke many <38 rg cigars but I'm always interested. So...no one carries these and they aren't even listed as a Punch vitola at Habanos S.A. Were they discontinued?
And the rating date is September 2008! Am I lost in time? I'm scared...
But a 90 rating...I'm curious...

In recent years the production of some of the less well known 'discontinued' cigars has been sporadic. I suspect if CA is reviewing them then there will have been a recent production run. I also suspect that since punch is quite popular in the UK that H&F may have bought a large proportion of these recent ninfas, which would be why few online vendors appear to have any.
Just hunches- I may be (like usual) entirely wrong.

On the Habanos size list, Punch Ninfas shared its size only with the Quai D'Orsay Panetela. The factory name is Ninfa. The Quai D'Orsay is still in production, though limited to markets with penchants for long, slim cigars. The Punch Ninfa has in fact been discontinued but only recently. The samples we tested were actually from a dress box of 25, which is why they were banded and box pressed. It was more common to find them in cabs of 50—unbanded with a rounder shape. The Ninfa is unlike any Cuban panetela I've ever tasted...stronger than the Quai D'Orsay or Por Larranaga Montecarlo, but sweeter than the Cohiba Lancero or Trinidad Fundadore. Closest to the El Rey Del Mundo Grande de España, in my opinion. A great find if you ever come across any and you're a fan of this size.
