Hi,
I'm an artist looking for a manufacturer of paper cigar boxes. Not for cigar use but rather to package my artwork. Having quite an ordeal locating manufacturers in the US or Honduras, Nicaragua, Santo Domingo etc. If you have any information which will lead me to a manfacturer Iwould greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Rick

Check with a local cigar shop. Many of them will sell you their empty boxes for $1-$3 each. You might even get lucky and they may let you have some of them for free.

Mom: "Twenty dollars for a cigar?!?! Why don't you just set fire to a $20 bill?"

Response: "Get a $20 bill to taste like a Davidoff and I'll light my entire paycheck on fire!"

Thanks for your response. I'm looking to create my own label to place on cigar boxes though. Seems very tough to find a company that will print and place the labels on the boxes. I can get wood boxes made, and it appears i'm going to have to print my own labels and place them on wooden boxes myself.
Take care,
Rick

No prob Rick....good luck with it. If you find someone to manufacture them for you, send a pic of the finished product. Email's in the profile.

You would probably have better luck contacting a cigar manufacturer directly. They may be nice enough to forward you to the company that produces their boxes.

Hi,
Has been interesting trying to locate a manufacturer. Very difficult to get a straight answer from them, but notimpossible, wil;l fly to Santo Domingo or Honduras if i have to. I don't give up, this project is too exciting. I'll get it eventually, for now i'm going to produce the labels myself, glue them to the boxes, and begin production in this manner, once it takes off i'm going bigger.
Take care,
Rick

If you really want new cigar boxes, they won't come cheap. Probably the best box company out there is Picus.

Thanks for the website address! Will look into it. Finding manufacturers who make the paper covered ones is a real challenge.
