Seems like there are five or six requests every month for recommendations concerning cheap humidors ($250 or less). I know it runs counter to the general image of CA, but perhaps it would be a good time to do a comprehensive test of bargain humidors.

Excellent idea. Considering the fact that $3 and $4 cigars sometimes rate in the 90s, it's not outlandish at all to put some $100 or $200 humis up against the Davidoffs and EBs. I remember a few tests like that back when the magazine was CIGAR aficionado and not cigar AFICIONADO -- and I don't mean that as a dig.

Some magazines print what people want to read, and then others. . . .

I think it's a great idea. I'd like to see an article as well about Aristocrat humidors. They're made in America and well-done.

Better Chance of recieving a response from the Pope, on this or anything else in the "dear editors" forum rather than one of the Editors.

Yeah. I'm a little worried. When there's no work, and the
people get restless, who do you think they come after?... El Presidente!

big business = big ad revenu...

who would dare say that a 200$ humi is as good (or maybe even better) than a 1500$ one (that is probably even smaller than the 200$ unit)

think of it..... tampahumidors or cheaphumidors or any of those kind of places do not place any ads in CA.... elie bleu and davidof do.

so here is your answer guys... SIMPLE ECONOMICS...

ads revenu = salaries, golf games, CC's and let's not forget villas in tuscany

ahh.. the life of every joe blo in america Wink

I'm pretty sure that the Mods use the "ignore" function when it comes to Coriolanus threads.

i recently had some controversial questions posted up, and just mysteriously, my threads disappear (along with the other thread I was questioning)... it must be a bug in the software.. I'm sure noone just deletes posts that are too awkward to answer

Virtually every humidor review we've done has included some inexpensive humidors. The latest included a humidor from cheaphumidors.com, which fared OK in the test, getting a grade of B-. Not bad for a $199.99 humidor.

We've also included results from using Tupperware and bags such as those made by Humidipak.

Here's the latest review:
