Freezing shouldn't be happening at all, except perhaps on the Forums at those specified hours during updates.

So if there is freezing happening at other times, we want to get more info from who it's happening to, and try to diagnose the problem and then solve it. Maybe there's a particular browser or ISP who is having these problems?

Please describe exactly what's happening, with the following info:

1) ISP type (dialup, cable)
2) Windows/Macintosh platform
3) Browser type
4) Detailed description of what the problem was -- 'freezing' is not enough information. We need to know more about exactly what is happening and when.

We appreciate your patience.

1. SBC DSL
2. Windows XP
3. IE
4. a.) At random times throughout the day/evening, when you try to navigate thru the forums, nothing happens, the page will never load. You can always click back to the CA home page and navigate thru the rest of the CA site, but as soon as you click on the forums link you run into the same problem. This usually lasts for 5 to ten minutes, and then everything works ok again, until the next time.

b.) And I think this is a problem only I am having, but whenever I post ANYTHING anywhere in the forums, I am unable to post another post for anywhere between 20 to 40 minutes. I get an error message and my window shuts down. It looks as though plenty of other people post things in quick succession, but posting must do something to my computer where it will not allow me to post again (even if I refresh the window, or close it and open a new one) for a period of time.

Thank you.

I've had the exact same problem at SmokinHot.

(1) T1 line at work
(2) Windows XP, SP2
(3) IE

Unfortunately, I don't log every date/time it happens. I usually just leave the site and check back later. It's actually quite annoying.

FYI - The Avatar Upload doesn't work either.

Oh, one more thing.....

Tried to post message in the "contact us" section. Tried 5-10 times today around 9:20am MST It just FREEZES. IE just sits there with a message "Opening Page http://www.......". Never actually appears to submit the comments. Freezes indefinitely.

1) Comcast Cable & Verizon DSL
2) Macintosh OSX & OS9
3) Safari, IE

Same problem. The forum will be cruising along, no hitches. Then all of a sudden you can't navigate anywhere. The pages will stop loading, I can't post, etc. It usually stays down for a good 20 minutes or so. Sometimes, and I'm sure it's the same problem, I can't even get the forum site to call up in the first place.

4) Randomly, most of the times in the mornings. Either i can't get on the site, or it'll never update when i post a message... it'll freeze then.

1 DSL
2 Windows XP Pro
3 Internet Exploder
4 It freezes when I try to access it in the mornings.

Also, it's been pretty boring lately. Can you pep it up a bit? You know, have Sharon leave a boobie hanging out like that hottie in the fish wrap this month.

Peace.

DSL
Windows 98 II
Internet Explorer Version 6.0 and also MSN

Who cares what the site should be doing, why not worry about what it is doing? Since "freezing" is not enough information, how about the forums don't work at all during the frozen times.

Happened about an hour ago. The site refuses to load or refresh. It is almost as if the server is being taxed but it has also happened at times, like the middle of the night, when the bandwidth cannot be overloaded because there are only 1 or 2 other members logged in.

5000mbps cable connection
Earthlink ISP
Windows XP
Internet Explorer
