I have been a reader of Cigar Aficionado since the beginning. There have been several times that I have had a subscription over the years but usually I just pick up the latest copy in a bookstore or cigar shop. A few months ago I decided to sign up for a two year subscription because of the enticing offer sent to me by CA. Well, I never received my first issue which customer service gladly credited me for. Now the December issue has still not arrived as of today even though I have seen it at several cigar shops around town. This is very frustrating since my main reason for subscribing was to get the issues earlier. I have called customer service and was told it is not late until the 21st with very little empathy or concern.

that sucks if they are showing up in the stores before you get your copy.

The official newsstand date for the Nov/Dec issue is tomorrow, the 22nd. Some stores get them sooner than others. Usually subscribers get them before the newsstand date, but that's not always the case.
If the magazine still doesn't arrive by the the time they told you, you should call them back and let them know.
