I don't know if I have a experience to rate a cigar with the point system but will give it a try... Just keep in mind this is from a noob. Romeo y Julieta Reserve Maduro:
Appearance and construction (14 of 15 points possible) I really didn't see anything wrong with the RyJ, nice dark color and firm to the touch, no soft spots. smooth wrapper, with very small veins.
Flavor (22 of 25 possible points) This one is hard for me to rate, It is hard for me to taste the different flavors but here is what I did like; Unlit smelled great, hints of cherry. lit the smoke smelled very nice. I could tell it was a stronger, full bodied cigar then what I typically smoke but it did not have a harshness to it. During the inhale it would give you a nice tingle on the tip of your tongue.
Smoking Characteristics (24 of 25 points possible) Lit fast and even, draw on the tight side. Burn and ash were perfect. When the ash was at a inch and a quarter it took three hard taps of the finger to get it to drop (I didn't want the ash to land in the hottub
Overall Impression (33 of 35 points possible) Loved the unlit smell of this cigar. The draw was perfect for me, I love a tighter draw, I can take a nice long drag and control how much smoke I intake. It had a pleasant taste, as did the smoke. Fuller bodied cigar, so for me would be a great after dinner smoke. I would by a box, and probably will
Overall score-93 I know it seen high but, I looked at the rating and can't see anything I would change...
Feedback welcome... about cigar, my rating, or helping me rate cigars.

I have tried these and found them to be a great cigar. This is a smooth smoke with balanced flavors and a wonderful aroma. It is one of those smokes that after you try it you want to get a box of them. Good Times!

I've had the robusto and I really liked it so when I saw some of the smaller ring gauge for a great sale price I got them for quick smokes. They are like 4 x 46 and I didn't like them nearly as much.

My friend gave me a few of these as a going away present and I was planning on smoking one this weekend. I'll let you know what I think, it looks like a nice smoke.
I also like them a lot. I enjoy most RyJ, but these are may favorite. I really don't buy boxes (except for Fuente 8-5-8), so I buy them 5 at a time. This I guess has let me try sticks from several boxes, and not a one was anything less than I was expecting. I may buy a box as well (if nothing else to save a little $$)
I've tried the #4 and the Robusto. got the 4's in the 4pack from JR, they were tasty enough, but not quite enough to make me buy some more. The Robusto came in a sampler pack of 10 and it started out like paper and ended like kitty litter. Now i've tried other sticks out of the sampler (montecristo Vintage 93) and it was awesome, so maybe it was just that the stick needed to sit in my humi for a few days to stabilize. Still looking for a good Maduro though, gonna try the CAO next.
first one of these i had (i had a couple of the no 4s), was very nice, enjoyable, and fairly full. the next couple tasted nasty. burned great, great ash, but tasted like charcoal and manure (kinda reminiscent of the bahias). for full bodied maduro NCs i have been leaning toward the serie rs and the jdns. not really full flavored, but a good kick to em, and the jdns are cheap, too! Great review tho, and as the sagely stoge pointed out, it doesn't really matter if we agree because ITS YOUR OPINION! if you like it smoke it, if someone else doesn't, more for you!
Noob, and a FNG to boot!

I just had my first RyJ Maduro last Saturday night. I didn't care much for the 2 RyJ Naturals I had, nothing wrong with them, just didnt fit my taste.
The maduro Reserve was amazing though. It had a lot of flavor to it, and it was a great looking cigar. I had some burn problems, but it was my fault due to the high humidity in the humidor recently.
I have one more to try after it settles a few more weeks. Awesome review by the way.
