I just couldn't resist this one last night, beautiful dark colorado wrapper, with an even oily sheen on this petit corona. Unlit the draw was a little loose, but this may be beacuse it was in my singles humidor which does a sterling job of maintaining 63-64% and I hear higher is needed for NCs.

My first Tatuaje and I was expecting good things, and there was something very familiar about it in the first few minutes. After about 10 I managed to put my finger on it- it reminded me strongly of a very good Bolivar Gold medal I had recently. A little young certainly but good strong ligero, packed with spice with an underlying dirty or earthy note. This became more pronounced in the middle of the smoke, as a perfect balance was achieved all the way through the 2/3rd. By the last few minutes of the cigar the all the fruity wooded spiciness had gone leaving just the earthiness, which alone makes a cigar rather flat. But this was just for a few minutes.

I have read often that Tats are the NC that taste most similar to a CC, and I found them really very similar. Maybe there was something small and indefineable missing, maybe that was just in my mind. Apart from visually, with its rounded head and light ash, they are undeniably cubanesque. If I smoked it alongside 5 or 10 cuban petit coronas could I call out the non-cuban? I don't know, but to be honest I doubt it. 77 ex 100.

(and a big thank you to JWeb for sending this excellent stick)

I love the noellas. They are extremely cubanesque and tasty. A bit steep but a nice smoke none the less.

I just finished one tonight. You rated a 77\100?
IMO this rates easily high 80's.
You're right about it balancing out toward the end.

Just my ratings system- 77 is high. (I don't think I've rated a smoke over 85 this year). Make no mistake- I really liked this cigar.
