I also enjoy the Robusto. Then again it's the only size I've smoked Razz.

Damn, that's a great price Eek. If I wasn't trying to get a box of Padron 6KM's I'd have to order.

The robusto is the only size of the Hybrid ive tried, and i love it. When i am able to afford purchasing by the box, i will definately be getting a box of these as one of my first purchases.

im bringing this thread way back from the dead to ask if anyone had smoked any recently? Ci has a deal for 10 robustos for 25 it seems like a good deal but i dont know how the recent batches compare to the one reviewed from 05. it also has a corojo wrapper as opposed to the colorado which i believe was reviewed here.

I've got a box from 2005 and they're a nice smoke. Mostly woody with some coffee notes. Not stellar but for $2.50 a stick, a great deal. As far as I know, these haven't been made in some time and what's left over is NOS so they may have some nice age on them, at least a year.

I actually tried one of these for the first time the other afternoon and it was a decent cigar. I got it in a Holt's sampler. I have one more left and I am going to see if I can let it age a bit before trying it. I definitely would smoke another of these if I found them on sale or if someone gifted me one.

Tried a Padilla Hybrid robusto last night. Great construction, great burn, but the taste of the Nicaraguan, Dominican and Peruvian mixed filler was not to my liking.

Lately, anything with Dominican tobacco in it tastes acrid to me (with the exception of Arturo Fuente's & Ashton's).

Give me any Nicaraguan puro and my palate is happy.

Try a La Aurora 1495 or 100 Anos.
