This cigar was very thick, perfectly round, and stuffed to the brim with tobacco. The wrapper was a very dark brown that was oozing with oils. The cigar was nice and firm, and bounced back nicely when I squeezed it between my thumb and forefinger. This looks like a very high quality stick.
Flavor 21 out of 25 points
Smoking this cigar reminded me of an old SNL skit where Adam Sandler and Dana Carvey would ask their customer’s in the restaurant, “You like a da pepper?” The first ¼ of this stick was like smoking a piece of wood that had been dipped in pepper. It mellowed after the first ¼ with a solid core of woodsy notes and a very faint hint of dark coffee. These flavors were mostly overpowered by the peppery taste that lasted the length of the stick.
Smoking Characteristics 22 out of 25 points
This stick clipped perfectly, and the draw was nice and easy for the duration of the smoke. This was a very well constructed cigar with ash that reached up to almost 2 inches in length. The only drawback was that the burn was pretty uneven for the first half, but not too much to require retorching the cigar. I’m glad I didn’t because it corrected itself nicely.
Overall 31 out of 35 points
Overall I was slightly disappointed with this cigars lack of complexity and pretty one dimensional flavor profile. I’m not a big fan of the pepper, but if you like that taste this would be a great cigar for golfing or working out in the yard. That being said, the cigar smoked nicely and was very solidly constructed.

D@mmit! It sounds like your describing a JDN Celebration. I like pepper and wood but it sucks when its the only flavors there are. Sorry about the dissapointment.

SHF, I smoked this one today and thoroughly enjoyed it. I accidentally filled by beads up with too much water so my RH jumped up to 75. I left this out for a couple hours and then smoked it. Its pretty good. It tastes like earth and pepper with a slight sweetness on the finish. It is slightly reminiscent of the celebracion with less cedar. Not a bad cigar all in all. It is burning like crap but thats another story. I'm not surprised with 75%RH.

I have smoked 4 of these and until I smoked the third one I had no issues with them. The 3rd was a disappointment bland and an awful burn. The others I enjoyed, they don’t have a ton of complexity but are a good smoke. Jim
