I'm new to the forum and was wondering if anyone out there had smoked either a Sancho Panza Extra Fuerte Madrid, Vegas de Fonseca Sobrinos, Joya de Nicaragua Celebracion Churchill, Trinidad Robusto or La Gloria Cubana Reserva Figurados Selectos De Lujos? And if so what you thought? I thinking about buying a box of one of these, Thanks for the help.

First the cello question, know this.

Here is a pointer for ya willedrush, try using the search function. It is marked by the word "FIND " and a magnifing glass icon. Just type in the names and the info will appear. Or you can try asking this question in the Non-Cuban Forum. Try posting a question about one or two of the cigars first. I hope this helps you out.

No problem man! I could sit here and answer everyone of the cigars listed but I would probaly be the only one, or two. You would be better served posting one or two at a time in the NC section that way you get a whole bunch of opinions and responses. Wink

The only one on that list I would go for is the JDN celebracion but I would definitely buy a few singles first to try. A few people I know here don't really care for them. I think that with some age they are great. The sancho panzas are OK in the flavor department but a little harsh and weak when it comes to construction.

I've smoked a couple of the La Gloria Figurados and they were excellent. I picked them up at a local shop for $7.50 a stick. The construction was exceptional and they burned evenly to the end. A medium bodied smoke with full flavor that is not harsh and lacks bite. I have 2 more in my Humidor that I'm going to let sit for a year or so; I think they will age well.

The JdN Celebracion Churchill is also becoming one of my favorites, for the price you will be hard pressed to find a better smoke. Although the construction/appearance may be a little rough the smoke makes up for it in taste and strength. They do not have the punch of the Antano, but to me they are more balanced and offer plenty of strength. They go well after a big meal.

I think Binder really enjoyed his LGC Reserva, but I'm not sure what size that was. Trinidads are good, but expensive. Haven't tried anything else on the list. A cigar that I always recommend is the Camacho Diploma.

The trinidadss and LGC are overpriced IMO, better smokes out there for the price. The SP EF and JDN Celebration are one dimensional, but for the price I guess their alright. I personally didnt care for the Celebration, mine where uglier than sin and where lacking in flavor (I have the torps). Ive already commited on the Sorbrinos in the other thread.

SP Extra Fuerte Madrid: great cigar for a small price. Bold flavor with notes cinnamon and pepper. I'm not much for box pressed sticks, but this one is worth it.
