This cigar is a very nice torpedo shape; very typical. A bit veiny on the wrapper.

Pre-light, the cigar did not display any overt chracteristics other than a good, strong tobacco smell. A slight spice on the perfect draw.

As I lit the cigar, the cigar was a bit woody, toasty, with a slight black pepper and spice. No characteristic caramel sweetness on the bottom from the maduro wrapper. The spice decreased as did the pepper about an inch into the smoke. The rest of the smoke was a bright woody and nutty with just a touch of the spice on the bottom. Very pleasant smoke I wouldn't hesitate to smoke again.

Regarding the construction, the cigar was very solid, with no mushiness or hard lumps. The smoke volume was very heavy, and smelled typical if not a bit weak for the taste. I bumped my pants and killed the ash at about 1", but it would have probably held longer.

A pleasant, mild-medium bodied smoke I would certainly grab again with some morning coffee.
