well this is the first outta the box, and I'm only keeping about 6 or so outta the box so i figured I'd review the first and last. Anyway here is a short lil review on this cheap lil tubo.

APPEARANCE AND CONSTRUCTION (13/15)
Decently well made, with a nice triple cap that cut well. The wrapper was not quite seamless, with it being very apparent where the edge of the wrapper leaf was, and raised in places.

FLAVOR (23/25)
Flavor is exactly what I would expect from a lower priced RyJ. Nutty and almondine, with spice, a little bit of cream, and smooth. However, there was some bitterness evident.

SMOKING CHARACTERISTICS (22/25)
She burned ok. A little crooked at times, almost tunneling by the end. However, there was a good draw on it, not quite as open as I like it, but I tend to like the real easy draw anyway. The only thing was the draw was inconsistent. Easy at times and tough at others. Lit very easily, which was nice, but expected, so no extra points there.

OVERALL IMPRESSIONS (32/35)
A good short smoke, nothing grand. A nice cheaper alternative (under 5 bucks) to my regular lineup. The errated burn was annoying, and the bitterness detracted from the taste a bit. Overall a worthwhile stick to have due to the price and the tubos are nice since you can slip them in your pocket for later, and not worry too much about the sticks getting beat up or drying out. A mild-medium smoke. I prefer stronger smokes, so these are a once in a while smoke for me, or an "I can't afford anything better but want some of that cuban flavor" smoke.

OVERALL SCORE: (90/100)

I bought a box from the Canadian PX while TDY in Germany last week. I normaly like a cigar in the 5" to 6" x50 to 54 range so these were smaller than I usualy like. I also like a cigar with a little more kick to it. However, it has a good taste and burns well so I would not keep them for give aways but for the price I have had many better non-Cuban cigars and for less money. It was nothing to write home about except for the novalty of being a Cuban cigar. Next time I will try something else.

From the few I have had, I've had the same issue.

One did it from around halfway through.

It's a cheap cuban really, there are better for the same price.

Though I will say, it's one of those smokes that can be very nice when all goes well, but that just doesn't happen enough in my opinion.

I know I would never score it at 90 for those issues
