The cigar looked good: medium brown- a bit light for a maduro wrapper. Not limp, loose, tight, no abundance of veins. Typical Padron quality.

Immediately, I was taken aback by the high amount of spicy taste. I couldn't taste anything but dirt, and that continued throughout the smoke.

I felt obliged to smoke it to see if anything emerged, but I ditched it with about 2 1/2" left. Not enjoyable, especially for something that cost over $1. I was let down by the cigar.

I will have to think long and hard prior to buying another Padron.
