What a great cigar. As it touches your lips you taste the bold spice. This cigar is packed with flavor yet its not harsh that it numbs your tongue. Its been one of my favorites from day one. I reccomend this cigar to anyone that enjoys a full bodied stogie.

Oh The Fed has come so far. He was frying french fries a few months ago, rolling VIP before that and now he's reviewing cigars.

Our boy is growing up!

Kaveman,

Smoked one of these today after reading this post and agree with everything you said. Fantastic smoke. Thanks for the suggestion.

Thats the one I smoke as well. I have a box of the Crystal which is the same as the maximo but comes in the glass tubes instead of metal.

I have enjoyed Party Black Labels for awhile now, usually buying boxes of the Classico and Pyramides. Nothing like the earthy bold flavors, with spice, a hint of maduro sweetness, and all that great smoke. I also like the CAO Mx2's for many of the same reasons.

Pyramides ahve always been one of my favorites. I like the taste and the shape. I have seen several unfgavorable reviews of them but have found them to be consistiently good. I agree the spicy taste at the beginning starts out well.

I'm going to have to disagree with this for now. I had one and found it to taste charred and bitter, earthy even but in a dirt/charcoal sort of way. What I was looking for in this cigar as far as a full-bodied smoke goes, I found in the Camacho Corojo. I've only had one black label, and I'm willing to give it another try or two, but for now its a thumbs down.

I am giong to have to agree with Ben. After seeing this post I grabbed a Classico at the Bm and was excited to try it after some nicely grilled ribeyes. I was expecting something powerful, but was kind of disapointed in that aspect, and the flavor never really seemed to develop into any strong notes, it was like a nice blend of taste. I enjoyed the cigar overall, but it was not what I was expecting.
