Great review on a fantastic cigar...I agree all around..a must in every humidor.

Just a question though...is the Epi #1, the Corona Gorda similar in taste? Or can I expect something different all together?

Thanks in advance!

Bo, thanks for the wonderful review. I have a 5x3 box from 05 that may need to be tested soon.

I'm glad you liked the review.

I just smoked an Epicure No. 1 which had some similar flavors but just not as good as the No. 2. I normally would prefer a corona gorda over a robusto, but the smoothness is a bit lacking in my No. 1.

Thats funny i personally find them to be two totally different cigars.Sort of like Partagas 8-9-8 Varnished and unvarnished IMHO.

Sheep, I agree. For me the Epicure 2 is a definite standout from the 1. That's not to say the 1 is a bad cigar, it's just the 2 seems to have a better flavor profile for my palate.

Bo
the Epicure 2 is an awesome cigar indeed, nice review. I tried my first one a few weeks ago and I was blown away. Aside from Bolivar RCs these are my favorite CCs. It's box time.
