again, nicely done Jad!

you've peaked my interest once again... now the hunt begins. I think I'll even try my hand at a review when I kill one of these bad boys. I can't seem to find a nice, flavorfull mild smoke that I'm happy with to keep on hand. All my favs are on the full body side (wasn't crazy about the Padilla). maybe this is it.

You didnt like padilla but you think the CX2 might be the one?

Try a chateau fuente sungrown or a fuente cuban corona if you want something mild.

don't get me wrong, I liked the Padilla, but from his description, sounds like the CX2 might have more flavor. (or at least it might suit my taste buds better) it's worth a try.

Jad...what's your thought on that, you've had both. does the CX2 have a more complex flavor?

well, i smoke alot of padilla hybrids, and just got shipping notice on my Miami blends, but the CX2 was different compared to the padillas. The CX2 had that nice full flavored cameroon taste and a bit stronger in body. The padilla hybrid is one of my fav mild to medium smokes that still has a spicy finish to it in my opinion. I havent had another CX2 since the first one, just havent had the chance to pick anymore up,and they are pretty expensive.

Jad, I see you play the Dejembe. or is it for decoration? they are a very cool looking piece of percussion! I was thinking of purchasing one to learn to play, plus it'll look nice in my drum room.

These are pretty close to my perfect cigar. They start off with a full range of delicious flavors that push all the right buttons for me... mostly earthy with a bit of cinammon and cedar, and dark coffee. It is smooth with no bite initially.

About half way through, the coffee flavor really picked up, along with a spicier bite and hints of cocoa. It also picked up some strength and the nicotine buzz kicked in about 2/3 of the way through.

Overall, a very nicely blended and well balanced flavor. Fine construction and nice aroma. I'll have to pick up a box of these when I can stomack the price.

My review would look more like:

CX2=Good try one yourself!

I thought the CX2 was actually a A.F. Hemingway - I thought they were almost the same in taste. The CX2 smoked a little hotter, but It may have been the humidity level.
