I received this cigar from Admiral Morgan. Thank you very much!

Appearance: 6/10 - There were cracks at the head and foot probably from the shipping process, but the cigar has a nice firm, but not stiff construction and was well humidified.

Brun/Draw: 8/10 - The pre-light draw was a bit tight, however, I usually like it a bit tight. Once lit, it drew well. The burn was not perfect, but no major issues.

Taste: 10/10 - This cigar was delicious from beginning to end. It was never harsh, not even after double puffing. Lately, I have not been able to double puff due to harshness in both CCs and NCs. The taste is full of floral and cedar for the first half. At the halfway mark, a few puffs of creaminess kicked in. It ended with cedar aromas.

Overall: 9/10 - My first RE was all that I hoped for in any cigar. Definitely one of the best I have ever smoked. It reminds me of the Partagas 898 but with more complexity due to the slight creaminess. Loads of flavor.

Thanks!

I've been looking at these - I may need to pull the trigger...

Great review Bo. I had one recently and I must say I though it was a little flat, especially in the second half. Nice enough with sweet caramel and cedar, throughout but the muted nature of the flavours (at the moment) made it difficult for me to judge how it may have developed. I think I gave it 69.

Good to hear that yours was on though.

very nice bo.... this makes me want to go and try one... I've had about a dozen sitting for over 6 months now, and haven't tried one yet...

I think this week-end I'll finally get to fire one up.. I was looking for something special for saturday's game (go Habs go), and I think these will make the cut..

I had one yesterday and I agree with Bo on the taste. Draw is a bit tight.
