This has to be the biggest Bull$hit Gimmick ive ever heard about..
If it was done by CAO, I'd agree; however, given the reviews by many, I'll probably give them a try, though the idea of a 4inch smoke lasting two hours frustrates me.
I remember smoking a Opus Reserve d' Chateu. After a 1/2 an hour, I looked down and saw only about a inch of ash. It was very frustrating for some reason. I guess I like my cigars to burn when I smoke them. Go figure.

Nub...LOL.. You have got to be kidding me
I'm with iCall. It's Oliva. They get automatic benefit of the doubt in my book. Oliva's product line is one of the highest-value, no BS cigar brands out there. Everybody I know who has tried this so far rates it good to excellent. Hey, what the hell -- I'm smoking Petit Edmundos and HdM Petit Robustos. Why not something equally short a bit fatter?
I just smoked a Nub Cameroon 464 -- the 4" x 64 ring torpedo. Nice smoke. Only one thing:
On the Nub website, it says:
"They routinely last over an hour. With one exception, all nub cigars have at least as much tobacco as a robusto. Most have as much as a churchill or even a presidente!"
Mine lasted 35 minutes at about a puff a minute. My friend's lasted barely 30.
Nice cigar but those claims of them lasting over an hour are nonsense.
However, truth in advertising -- I was able to stand it straight up on end when I was done smoking it down to the, ahem, nub.
I agree with most, these are pretty good cigars. Have smoked about a dozen of them in the various wrappers, and they were all good. They won't replace my daily regimen of Tats and others, but good enough to keep around. Oddly enough, am impressed most with the Connecticut Torp. I don't usually care for mild cigars, or a Conn. wrapper, but these are pretty flavorful with AM coffee.

I smoked the Cameroon today and liked it much better than the Conn. yesterday. I'll try the Habano next and see. So far, I think they are pretty good. I think the Cameroon would be a good hand-out stick, b/c the price is small and the taste is good. Just my 2-cents.

I've only smoked the Cameroon. I just got a 5pk of Habano wrapper that I'm letting sit for a little. My initial impression of the Cameroon was that it was a good cigar, with some interesting flavors. Mine did not last for more than 50 minutes. It seems that you'd have to be drawing on it at a slower pace than 1/min for it to last much longer. Overall, I'd say the Nubs provide a quality smoke and I'm looking forward to the Habano.

my problem with them is this: the idea behind them is that at 4" long, they hit on the sweetspot of the cigar and they are tastier. I have tried a couple from each, and I can certainly say that this is not the case. They still need a good 10-15 mins to open up and for the flavours to start coming through. Hence, the whole thing is a gimmick...
They are decent smokes, better than I expected, but I still can name at least 50 cigars that are better for the price
I just had a NUB Cam yesterday. I agree with the initial rating except for the smoking characteristics.
There is a definite development about 1/8" into the cigar, and the flavors really are wonderful. The issue was the burn and the heat near 1" remaining. The cigar (which did last about an hour for me) was a finger burner, and not in a good way. I wanted to smoke more of it, and I couldn't.
a solid 85 IMO.

Cyrann, thanks for the review and I agree with you. I much preferred the Cameroon to the Conn. wrapped 460. It was amazing how much different the two really were to my tastes...good job...
