Just received 6 in the mail compliments of Jose Oliva. Thanks Jose!

I set five down but had to smoke one. It was a little dry from shipping which is to be expected. But it was still a fantastic smoke. Excellent construction. Beautiful wrapper. Exactly what you expect from an Oliva produced cigar...well aged tobacco, no harshness, good flavor, nice finish. I detected a very subtle underlying dry cocoa flavor. This cigar is medium bodied and I could feel a bit of power after the first inch but by no means a strong cigar. Even being a bit dry there was no bitterness. I enjoyed it all the way to the nub. Can't wait to try another one once they are properly conditioned.

I will definitely look into a box of these. Stogie, you'll have to post a thorough review of these when you get them. I'm pretty much a caveman when it comes to reviews.

I'd give this 4 ugghs on a scale of 5.

Peace.

My local tobacconist has these. I will pick some up and do a reveiw one of these days. They are supposedly the original oliva "O" if I am not mistaken.

Idesign, these were the Classic. I have a Bold in the humi that's just so dark and pretty I hate to set it on fire.

Peace.

OK. I'm going to a Perdomo event this afternoon. Maybe I'll see if they have an O Bold since I bought a box of La Tradicions at the last event.

Peace.

I've been very impresed by Oliva cigars especially the Master BLends. Now those are some quality smokes.

Try the Flor de Oliva bundles...(especially the Maddies)....one of the best bang for the buck cigars on the market.I always keep some in the humi....

IMHO...the maddies have a very similar flavor profile to the Olivia Classics (blue band), especially with a couple of months in the box.
Cool

Oliva O's with the blue cloth band aren't classics, they're O bold's, but maduro. Very spicey and tasty. As far as FDO's go, I'm not a huge fan. Not bad, but they always seem way underfilled to me, and have a flat taste. The O Classics are a very tasty smoke as are the Master Blends.

Yeah, I've had the bundled ones before, well only the Natural and it was pretty good for the price.

Man, every FDO I've had was outstanding for the price. I had a gold with morning coffee and it was a kick ass mild smoke. I've had the grand cameroon and enjoyed it as well. Haven't had the Corojo, regular or Maddie FDO's but I have a Maddie hiding around here somewhere. Great value and probably the only bundle cigar I'll ever purchase except...well, except for Connies of course...and maybe Dominico's (had one yesterday...not bad at all).

Peace.

Just revisited this cigar this evening and it was absolutely stellar. If you like the Nicaraguan flavor profile I don't think anyone does it better than Oliva. 6 months in the humi have done these serious justice. I'll be purchasing a box for sure.

Peace.
