My review is certainly not as eloquent, but here are my notes from last night.
Drac:
Construction, draw, and burn were all excellent.
First 1/3- Right off the light I got that familiar Tatuaje twang, but more sweetness than spice. The main flavor I got in the first 1/3 was chocolate. The first 1/3 was my favorite part of the cigar
Second 1/3 The chocolate faded and I got berry and spice. I kept thinking about a PAM 64 Diplomatico. I have never had a tatuaje remind me of a Padron, but this one did.
Final 1/3 All mint. I couldn't believe the amount of mint and how all the other flavors subsided. I thought the last third was also very mellow compared to other tat's.
Overall I give this a 90. I realize this cigar is very young and should improve with age, but this is no Frank. We all have our own preferences, but it doesn't get much better than the Frank for me. I am very fortunate to have got some of these and can't wait to enjoy these over the years.

Nice review AJ. When I was smoking mine last night I thought it was almost like a cross between a Padron and a Pepin (without the spice). It was crazy that the ending was minty, so I am glad that The Wolf noted that as well. I would have scored it an easy 91, more points would have been awarded if the draw wasn't so easy and if the burn would've been better. Great flavors though.

I got to agree. I'm no expert since I've only smoked 2 Dracs and 1 Boris so far, but I didn't pick up any mint on the Dracs. The Boris on the other hand, shot me with minty eucalyptus spice on my nosehairs . Not unpleasant, but unexpected and the experience was still overall enjoyable

Now when I said mint on the ending, I meant on the ending: Nubbed

I'm no expert either and I've only had one of each thus far. My initial thoughts on the Drac were that it was a little young, but it did have great flavor so I think a year of age will treat it well. I tend to agree with the others on the Boris and the minty notes. Both are great cigars, but I'd have to say that the Boris was my favorite of the two. I think I'll smoke one of each in six months and then again next Halloween to see which comes out on top.
