Make sure you get the Gran Consul, not the Consul, it's mucho better. The beli's are really nice, but they take forever to smoke and sometimes become overwhelming, especially if they're young. Gran Consul is a short fat beli that's just about the right size.
The owner of my local really turned me on to them. Haven't bought/smoked too many cigars recently ($ issues) and am psyched to have found a great stick that is really economical (I can get JDN's for between $4 and $6). They rank right up there with Punch Gran Puros for bang for the buck (at leat for me).

They might be overwelming to you right out of the box Brendan but they are at their best with 6 months settling time or more.

Yeah I have some Punch Gran Puros that I got at Christmas. Pretty awesome sticks now. If I can be patient I will try and let the JDN's I have right now rest a bit. Doubtful though as I love instant gratification.

Smoke those fockers up. Antano's, IMO, blow the celebracions out of the water. The cele's, to me, seem to be lacking something the Antano's have....oh yeah, the power and the pepper, that's it.

Short stint in the pen for gettin street on some punk 12 year old in his hood. Word has it, the kid trying stealing a gnome out of his yard and he flipped, beating the kid with a bird bath....

The celebracions don't lack power. They might not be as strong as the antanos but they definitely aint a wussified cigar. In fact, on the whole I think both lines are stronger than most cubans in a raw unpolished kind of way. The flavor of the celebracions is very different. It is more cocoa cedar and cinnamon and less espresso and peppery than the antanos. Both lines kick butt for the price though. Closest think IMO to a cheap daily smoke.

Well, I've only had the coronas from you and the beli's, but neither were that powerful IMO. The Cele's just didn't impress me, and being the same price basically as the Antano's, I'll take the Antano's every time.
