The cigar looks good- Conneticut med. brown wrapper. I snipped the end off the taper, and attemped to light it, but the draw was too tight. The thing is, it was plugged at the taper.

I stuck my knife in and ruined the end, so I figured it would shred and end my smoke quickly. However, it loosened up, and only spread a little, giving a decent draw, so I smoked on. The burn was a little uneven, but not horrible.

Not a terrible amount of character- a little spice, a little black pepper and coffee (very little), medium smoke volume, medium body. It wasn't unpleasant, just not very complex.

I got these for less than a buck, and for a $1 smoke, I'd venture to say it was better than many $1 smokes. I will keep them in my moochador, to keep mitts off my Ghurkas and CAOs. I can't think that I would reach for one to smoke, if I had anything else around. I would smoke one of these rather than a CuAvana bellicoso, however.
