This is the latest smoke from Pepin Garcia'a Miami factory -- a $12, 5x50 robusto with a Colordao-hued wrapper and excellent construction. Unlike most of his other smokes, this isn't a knock-your-socks-off kind of deal. Rather, it's pleasantly medium-bodied and very aromatic, with a nice earthy, sweet base and lots of finesse. It's a quick smoke (about 45 minutes) and a pricey one, too. My feeling is that fans of milder cigars will love it, but fans of fuller-bodied cigars will be underwhelmed. Regardless of which camp you fall into, I'd suggest smoking it earlier in the day for maximum enjoyment. It doesn't cut it as an after-dinner smoke but after breakfast or a light lunch, I imagine I'd pick up more of the nuances.
