(4.5 x 35) I'm starting to enjoy smoking petites more and more. I thought this Padron was medium bodied the entire time, it burned even the whole time, the draw was not bad it just ok most of the time, and the ash was white up against the maduro wrapper. The taste was very flavorful for its size. The maduro wrapper gave off a rich cedar taste. At times it did give off a slight harshness to it. Worth trying but not a favorite.

I smoked another Cortico Maduro from Padron. I thought the second one I had was medium bodied, and the draw was just alright nothing special. The taste was much like the first one I tried, flavorful throughout the cigar with a few times having a slight harshness. Again, worth trying but not a favorite.

Thanks for the update C. It's nice to see people reviewing a cigar twice, to see if it was just a fluke the first time. I like to see if there is consistency within a line or size of cigars.

Yes very good! I sometimes like to almost smoke the whole box before I give a review that way I can let other members know how consistent the box is.

Real good point smoking several or even a box before writing an eval. Often wondered if their was some sort of criteria on number of sticks smoked before eval. Does anyone know how many cigars are smoked before CA writes an eval??

I dont know! I bet they open a box, hand them out to probaly a few people, smoke one a peice and then form a general consencious. The reviews in the mag are so dry and sparse there is know telling what the he11 they do, come on, Coronawu gives more detail in his reviews. At least break them down and show us the points your giving for what catagory! Just my two cents!

the other reason i like the idea of smoking the entire box or at least most of it before doing a review is that then you know whether or not you would want to buy another. its easy to grab the first stick and say "well this is decent." decent enough that you're willing to make it your everyday smoke? if you start crying because you finished the box, you got a winner. if you try and pawn off the last few sticks, you probably shouldnt have said they were so good when you smoked the first one.

Smoked over a dozen tins now and luv em. These are perfect for a quick 10-15min smoke.

Hats off to the Padron Family because they even make these inexpensive little cigars taste great. I wonder if the tobacco in these long filler cigars is aged because it certainly tastes that way.

Padron fans will recognize the subtle flavors in this little cigar from some of its bigger sibblings including some hints of PAM 64 flavors.

For the price and for a quick smoke you will not find better IMO.
