I am not normally a fan of small cigars - my normal go-to smoke is a 5 Vegas "A" torpedo. That being said, I've been looking for a good 20-minute stick for short breaks or long waits.

I saw these mini Cohibas at my local B&M yesterday and took a chance. I'm fond of the Cohiba Black Supremos, so I was more than happy to give their smaller cousin a shot.

I'm glad I did.

This is a short, sharp smoke - 4 1/8" x 36.

Coming out of the cello, there's a rich scent of dark cocoa. Combined with the deep ebony wrapper, it was enough to make me want to just take a bite... Smile

The construction was almost flawless. The cap was a bit off, but this didn't affect the quality of the smoke. The burn and draw were perfect.

The opening was remarkably sweet and mellow, but it quickly deepened into a toasty, dark smoke with notes of leather and molasses. About halfway through, it shifted into a bright cedar/pepper note that lasted through to the nub.

Big cigar taste in a small and relatively inexpensive body - I'm officially a happy camper.

So many cigars, so little time...
