I smoked the Churchill and it was great!
The constuction was beautiful, the wrapper beautiful, the cap was great.
It clipped perfectly.
It lit perfectly and burned even all the way to the end.
It started out medium bodied with tastes of sweet cedar and good tobacco, then at the mid-piont it became full bodied with more of the same great flavor.
The draw was almopst perfect and it produced a good amount of smoke.

...as to the notion of excess, I don't give much thought to it except to say that I never smoke while I'm sleeping, and I never smoke more than one cigar at a time while I'm awake.

pacostacos, I have to agree with you. The Churchill is an excellent smoke. The only drawback was a very strong bitter taste at the end. But since it's a Churchill, I didn't mind putting it down when I got to the last 1/2 inch.

It's said that a woman and a fine cigar are much alike. It's my opinion that they are exactly alike. With proper care and appropriate aging they both develop into something to be savored.

I have had the other 3 sizes and loved them. One of the best smokes out there IMO.

its a wonderful cigar all the way down. if you purge the cigar towards the end, it helps get rid of the bitterness and you can nub the hell out of it. This is a nice affordable cigar, the torpedo is pretty good as well but the churchill is my favorite.

This has been one of the best cigars that I have smoked...I had the Churchill which burned even, had a good taste, just an all around great cigar.

I already smoked 7 Churchill Cameroon 1916 and i don't like them at all. They taste cigarettes tobacco. I gave almost all of them away. It is strange because i bought them after i smoked the Corona wich i liked very much. I tought it would be in the same palette of flavor, spicy, chocolate.

Sounds like you got some bunk churchills cedrosno3. I've got about 8 sticks left from a box I bought a year and a half ago and they're a great smoke. I'd say give 'em another try and se if they're any better.

Hey cedro, I agree. I really like the coronas in this line as well. I don't know if I'd go as far as to say the churchill taste like cigarette tobacco, but the flavors muddle. The corona is sharp and pronounced.

The Torps are probably my favorite of the line. I do like the Churchills though. After about a year in the humi they're really a great smoke.
