What a great littke smoke.Twenty minutes and your done.Great finish, perfect for the grill if you're just doing burgers or steaks. Not quit the same as the Monte #2 but good spice. These came in a dress box and are pressed almost square. I realy enjoyed it, and will be getting another box to have on hand. One of the best small smokes I've had.

Had another one at 7:30 with the grill going. You may burn your fingers.

Tell, get the cartons, not the dress box. Those buggers are too small to be pressed. I think they put the better stuff in the 5*5's anyway.

Peace.

I smoked my first Monte 5 about a week ago. Nice little cigar. Nutty, Creamy, and the strength and flavor built nicely throughout. You must smoke like a vacuum Tel, the one I smoked lasted a good 40 minutes.

I was going to comment on that too but I guess everybody smokes at their own pace....or the cigar was so good that 40 minutes felt like 20 minutes.

Peace.

El P, I smoked the other one you sent last night. I like these little smokes. Very creamy and nutty and about every other draw was dominated by milk chocolate. The aroma was amazing and it gave me a slight little euphoric buzz. Oh, and Tel, I stretched that baby out to an hour with one relight. Mmmmmm, I might have to get a box.

Divino's baby....Divino's....

It's a size thing. If you want a powerful short smoke, you get the Divinos. The bigger sizes are too big a risk since the perfecto's are occaisionally plugged beyond smokeability. That's why you always have to carry 2.

Peace.

I have a cuaba generoso that I am going to review some time this week.

I am not a big fan of montes. They seem to run either hot or cold in my experience. The no 2 is good when its on but I find the price hard to swallow. I have also had some ho-hum experience with the no 4 on a few occasions. How is the no 5 compared to the no 4? Are they are over-produced and over-hyped? For smaller vitolas I am a big fan of the boli pcs and the partagas shorts. They just seem to be a little more consistent to me than the montes. Thanks for the review!

Idesign, do you have any of those shorts left? If so they ought to be really good by now.
